Barry's Bootcamp

I made my first spur of the moment purchase from Woot.com the other day. It's one of those sites that I check regularly, but never see anything I want to buy. They sell one item a day - usually electronics-type things. Anyways, they had Barry's Bootcamp for $19.99 on sale and I bought one.

It was a great deal. There are 3 workout DVDs included, a set of power bands, and a big pill-shaped exercise ball. It includes a 30-day workout that I'm trying (in addition to doing the wii). You do a 21 minute lower-body workout one day and a 21 minute upper-body workout the next. The nice thing about it is each workout is really only 14 one-minute exercises, with a 30-second break in between each one. I can really feel it in my butt and arms ... which are two areas that I feel I wasn't really doing enough with on the wii.

I'm down 26 pounds. Still going slow, but I'm trying to really count calories and with this extra workout, I'm hoping the scale moves a little faster.

25!

I'm down 25 pounds! Hurray! It feels like it's going slow, but I just keep reminding myself that a pound a week adds up to 52 pounds a year.

As for the weight loss, I'm down 23 pounds. The scale was reading down 24 pounds, but then of course I ate too much on Easter yesterday. I HATE that it only takes one day of not being perfect for the scale to inch back up! I'll have to work out even harder this week.
