22
Down another 2 pounds for a total of 22 so far. The Wii says I've logged over 82 hours of workout time! I've been watching the Biggest Loser On Demand while I run for extra inspiration. I can't believe how much weight they can lose in a week! Of course, I'm not working out 6 hours a day like they are, but I am doing my hour in the morning (that's an hour of actual exercise time on the Wii) and I've been trying to add 20-30 minutes of aerobics in the evenings. I'm consoling myself with the thought that losing the weight more slowely will help me keep the weight off!

I'm a Finalist!
I entered an online contest to name a watch band on Chunky Bling. My name was selected as one of the top 5 and now they are having a voting contest to see who wins. I picked the name "Summer in the Hamptons". Take a sec, follow the link below and vote for me. If I win, I win a watch band of my choice. How fun!

Over 20 Pounds
FINALLY! I've passed the 20 pounds lost mark. I thought I would never get here. That darn scale really didn't want to budge. Now to work on hitting that 30 pound mark!

Increasing Workout
Well, I've pretty much been maintaining for the last couple of weeks. I'm down almost 20 pounds, but can't seem to get past that. My downfall has been the weekends. I put on a pound or two and then take it off during the following week. This weekend I'm going to really watch what I eat.
I've also increased my workout. I was doing 10 minutes of running each morning, but I've upped it to 20 minutes. Still working out an hour total, but maybe this will help get the scale moving.
The good news is that even though my weight hasn't gone down, my body has been toning up. My pants are so big that I tripped over them at work yesterday. Definitely time to go to a smaller size. Hurray!

Expert Chicken
I tried the Advanced Chicken flap game on the Wii this morning and finally made it to the blimp using the alternate route. I don't know if it was because I did the alternate route, or if it was because it was the third time in total that I'd reached the blimp between the two routes, but I was rewarded by the unlocking of the "Expert" level. I thought I had unlocked all of the levels on everything. What a nice surprise. I'll have to check that out tomorrow.
In other good news, my weight is back down to a new low. My goal is to keep that scale moving downward this week!

Frustrated!
Grrrr! My weight keeps going up and down the same two pounds. I'm stuck and I HATE it! I'm going to really buckle down this week and make sure I'm not eating any extra calories.
My mom, who's lost an amazing 21 pounds using her Wii, got me a step for the balance board this weekend. It raises the board up to 4 inches in height so it's more like a real step aerobics step. Not sure my knees like it, but maybe it's that extra little push I need to get the scale moving again.
I will succeed!!!!!

I Won!
I'm so excited! I won the new James Patterson audio book, Worst Case, on one of the blogs I've been watching. Lori at The Lady Bug Lounge sent me an email this morning saying I was a winner. I love James Pattersons' books and can't wait to listen to this one. Check out Lori's blog at www.mssladybug.com

Variety
I think it's the wide variety of options on the Wii that keeps me going each morning. Unlike a DVD where you're locked in to following a set routine, I can switch it up any way I feel in the morning. Not up to a 10 minute jog yet? Then I can choose a 4 minute set of set aerobics or a couple of strength exercises instead and come back to the jog later in my workout. That little bit of flexibility has kept me from burning out.

18 Pounds!
The scale has been up and down over the past week, but the trend line is still down. I'm now down a total of 18 pounds. Hurray!
I was contacted by a gal who runs a blog called TheBKeepsUsHonest.com. She reviews products that companies send her and then the company also gives away a prize to one of her readers. A really interesting use of social media to promote products. After some research, I found there are a whole bunch of women who have these kind of blogs. I've started following several of them both to see how effective it is, and heck, maybe I'll even win a prize!
